We are currently hiring a part-time Janitor with evening and weekend availability to join our Chances Salmon Arm Team.
As a Janitorial Staff member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. If you are detail-oriented, can multitask, and are comfortable working independently, we want to hear from you!
What you will be doing
- Adhere to all BCLC, WorkSafe, and WHMIS policies and standards, particularly when working around sensitive information and cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain sanitization and cleanliness of the establishment, focusing on all high-touch areas.
- Dust and clean various surfaces throughout the establishment.
- Dispose of garbage and recycling/Sweep, vacuum, and mop floor surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize machines on the gaming floor.
- Maintain cleanliness standards of all washrooms during shifts.
- Perform dynamic tasks as required to support operational needs.
What you will bring
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with direction.
- Professional and responsible conduct/Flexibility to handle changing tasks as needed/Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch/Must be 19+
