What You’ll Be Doing

As an Area Coordinator, you’ll become the local Area Coordinator for Neighbourhood Welcome by:

• Building relationships with local businesses and community organizations
• Introducing businesses to the Neighbourhood Welcome partnership program
• Securing new business partnerships
• Collecting promotional materials and offers from local signed partners
• Organizing and assembling welcome packages for newcomers
• Personally delivering welcome packages to newcomers
• Building relationships with new residents
• Managing your area’s Facebook page by position community-focused posts each week
• Attending community events, networking opportunities, and local markets
• Participating in weekly team Zoom meetings (Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:00 am PST)

Most importantly, you’ll be creating meaningful connections that strengthen your community.
