Responsibilities

• Operate dairy processing equipment such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, and filling machines with precision and care.
• Monitor production lines continuously, adjusting machinery settings to optimize efficiency and product quality.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure proper functioning.
• Assist with packaging operations, including loading, sealing, labeling, and stacking finished products for shipment.
• Use forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished goods within the facility while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and machinery in compliance with food safety standards.
• Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, machine performance, and sanitation checks.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of dairy processing equipment and machinery.
• Experience with packaging processes in a food industry or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures specific to the food processing industry.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating production quantities, and recording data accurately.
• Familiarity with food processing standards and quality control measures.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving abilities.
